As an innovative leader, Sundar launched numerous successful publications including Delhi Times, ASCENT, and Property Times, while spearheading regional brand expansions. V B Kasi is a global commodity trading executive with 30 years of experience across the full supply chain — origination, purchasing, risk management, trade finance, logistics, shipping, and derivatives trading on major exchanges including CME/CBOT, DCE, Bursa Malaysia, and NCDEX. He has built and led large trading desks across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, working with multinational trade houses spanning Western MNCs, Chinese SOEs, Overseas Chinese groups, and NRI-led conglomerates.
Beyond trading, Kasi consults for boutique technology firms and global consultancies on commodity procurement strategy, price risk management, and supply chain efficiency — with assignments spanning some of the world’s largest FMCG and food corporates in Europe and Asia. He is an angel investor and mentor in renewable energy, cleantech, and logistics startups across the US and India.
A man of many hats, Kasi is an accredited mediator under the Singapore Mediation Centre, a certified decarbonisation practitioner trained under UNGC Singapore, and a sought-after speaker and trainer at institutions including SMU, IIFT, and US Grains Council. He has lived and worked across eight cities on four continents and travelled to 65 countries. As Partner and India Business Leader for Mercer’s Careers division, Shanthi led talent consulting and information services for clients in India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. Her expertise in navigating complex talent landscapes has been instrumental in shaping client organizations’ approaches to workforce strategies and career management—insights that now inform 2nd Careers’ innovative platform for experienced professionals.
Prior to her nine-year tenure at Mercer, Shanthi served at Sun Microsystems in California, where she contributed to a visionary HR think tank developing futuristic practices in response to global business shifts. This forward-thinking approach, combined with her academic credentials—a Masters in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and a research degree in Organizational Behavior from the National University of Singapore—uniquely positions her to address the evolving needs of professionals navigating career transitions in today’s dynamic workplace environment.

Throughout her career, Sushma has championed entrepreneurship and innovation, actively identifying, mentoring, and nurturing start-ups across both the US and India.
