V B Kasi is a global commodity trading executive with 30 years of experience across the full supply chain — origination, purchasing, risk management, trade finance, logistics, shipping, and derivatives trading on major exchanges including CME/CBOT, DCE, Bursa Malaysia, and NCDEX. He has built and led large trading desks across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, working with multinational trade houses spanning Western MNCs, Chinese SOEs, Overseas Chinese groups, and NRI-led conglomerates.

Beyond trading, Kasi consults for boutique technology firms and global consultancies on commodity procurement strategy, price risk management, and supply chain efficiency — with assignments spanning some of the world’s largest FMCG and food corporates in Europe and Asia. He is an angel investor and mentor in renewable energy, cleantech, and logistics startups across the US and India.

A man of many hats, Kasi is an accredited mediator under the Singapore Mediation Centre, a certified decarbonisation practitioner trained under UNGC Singapore, and a sought-after speaker and trainer at institutions including SMU, IIFT, and US Grains Council.
